Freya Barker and Daniel Garvin have been appointed co-leaders of the Main Orchestra for 2017 and Poppy McGhee as leader of Sinfonia.
Richard Dickins, Leandro Silvera and Stephen McDade conducted the audition, were impressed by the quality of preparation that had been invested in the competition and thank all who took part.
Violinists are welcome to apply for the 2018 scholarship, which brings up to 50% fee remission for the course.
