We are now only a few weeks from the course and the numbers for both orchestras are looking fantastic. However we do still have a few spaces on both course for instrumentalists.

NSSO Programme Announced

The programme for the NSSO 2013 concert has now been announced and will include Britten Violin Concerto, Rimsky Korsakov Sherezade and Shostakovich Festive Overture

CDs available of the concerts

As so many parents and members of the public have commented the concerts were possibly the best so far for NSSO and Young NSSO. Don’t forget to order your copy of the concerts CD from Chorum records as soon as possible. The order form attached needs to be returned directly to Chorum.

Outstanding Concerts

Last Sunday, 22nd July 2012, saw two amazing concerts, with Young NSSO performing in the morning and NSSO in the afternoon both as part of the Three Choirs Festival. Congratulations to all those who performed, it was an outstanding week of music making.

Now that auditions have been completed I have sent out most of the offers of places via e-mail this morning. I will be putting formal letters and invoices in the post later this week. If you have not heard anything by the beginning of next week please do not hesitate to contact me.

Application Deadline Extended

The deadline for applications to both orchestras has been extended to 6th February 2012. All instrumentalists can apply at this stage as auditions have not yet taken place. Downlaod your application form and send it in as soon as possible.
